Peace Lutheran Church Swidnica, Poland

After spending ten day in Poland I decided to put together a short presentation on the largest wooden church in Europe. It is the Peace Lutheran Church in  Swidnica, Poland.

Took a quick trip to southern Vermont yesterday. The foliage was a beautiful light green as only it is in the early spring. Photographed the Green River covered bridge in Guilford. The church was nice against the blue sky.  I may go up again very early in the morning so the light is better.

Amateur Baseball

Been going to a few amateur baseball games lately. Most of the games are free and the seating is splendid. You bring your own unless you want to sit on the metal bleachers. The American Legion games always have lots of action as do the college leagues. Many of the social leagues (Twilight) have action as well. These are very good leagues to hone your sports photography as you can get good shots without having a lot of people in your way.

Just set up the blog. Also jut signed up for Skypes. What a neat tool. Can talk to anyone in the world via computer.
Going out shortly to try and get a new head stone for my grandfather's grave. He was buried in 1932 and the stone was made out of poured concrete. It's falling apart.
